Kjell Magnus’ field of interest includes coastal ecosystems and especially kelp forest ecology and trophic interactions. He has extensive experience in environmental monitoring with a focus on the effects of eutrophication and climate change on coastal ecosystems, and has led national and international research and environmental monitoring projects.
