Åshild Ergon

Associate professor, Foods of Norway, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU)
Åshild works with sugar kelp genetics and the refining of kelp varieties that are suitable for cultivation and use. She leads the project Breed4Kelp2Feed which is about genetics and processing, and the project SafeKelp which is about the content of iodine and arsenic in kelp along the entire value chain from cultivation to use as feed or food.
