Kasper Hancke

Senior researcher, Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA)
Kasper has specialist expertise in the role of algae in marine ecosystems and works with carbon storage in coastal ecosystems. In recent years, he has worked with the importance of kelp forests for carbon storage in the sea and with the environmental effects of kelp cultivation.
