Kira Krumhansl

Senior Biologist, Fisheries and Oceans Canada
Kira Krumhansl has worked in kelp forest ecology for over a decade, first as a PhD student at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, then as a postdoc at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. She is a Senior Biologist at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Her research looks at biological interactions affecting health of kelp forests in Nova Scotia.
